LiFe 6.6v Battery Pack

If you are looking for a high powered rx battery this is it! The LiFe battery packs are becoming a favorite of giant scale pilots for a few reasons. They are very powerful, they recharge quickly, and they are not as dangerous as the other types of lithium batteries. Not to mention that you do not have to run a regulator since they put out 6.6 volts! These batteries produce the necessary power for the high torque digital servos. I know of some pilots that run 1 LiFe/A123 battery to power their entire 35% planes. You can't rely on a voltmeter to check voltage with a LiFe battery the same way you can with other types, so please do a little research on this new technology when you decide to switch. I switched to these batteries myself, and like everyone said, I was glad I did! These LiFe batteries are very similar to the A123 branded cells.
